Credit Authorization

Welcome to Unlock. Unlock is operated by Unlock Technologies, Inc. (“Unlock” or “we” or “us”). By using the web site at www.unlock.com including any subdomain thereof, and submitting an application or a preliminary terms form, and continuing with the application process, you are providing your “written instructions” under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. By so submitting, you hereby consent to and authorize Unlock to obtain consumer reports, including your credit score, from one or more consumer reporting agency(ies), including but not limited to Equifax, Experian, and/or TransUnion, in connection with your application for an Unlock product or service.

Submitting an application or preliminary terms form to Unlock will not affect your credit; it will result in a soft credit inquiry which is only visible to you. If you receive an Unlock agreement, you also agree that Unlock may regularly conduct a soft credit inquiry to assess your adherence to the Unlock Agreement. A soft credit inquiry is only visible to you and will not affect your credit.

You authorize Unlock to verify information in your application about yourself and the property, and you agree that Unlock may contact third parties to verify any such information.

Additional reporting may be made to credit reporting agencies during the term of your Unlock agreement.
