Skylar is passionate about transforming complex economic data into accessible insights that help people navigate housing markets and make better financial decisions. She serves as Chief Economist at the non-profit Frolic Institute, working to deliver more affordable, ownable units and communicate the value of cooperative housing. She previously spent more than a decade at Zillow, ending her tenure as Chief Economist. Skylar holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Washington, where she currently teaches "Evolution and Disruption in Real Estate."
